    Odile Pauline Roxas’s artistic practice is rooted in art, inspired by vintage craftsmanship and cultural storytelling. Through her designs, she tells stories of ancient myths that come to life, weaving films where the fairytale princess finds her soulmate. The Atelier explores how garments preserve memories, with particular interest in reinterpreting antiquated ideas like traditional marriage and translating them into intimate designs and one-of-a-kind keepsakes.

    II. Le Cygne

    Bridal Spring/ Summer 2027

    When you look up the symbolism of the swan you see its roots in magic and folklore as a symbol of love, loyalty, and the soul. As such this collection represents not just love but the dream of all dreams- the concept of forever made in the form of wearable art.
    The more Odile researched, the more she realised that weddings are not multifunctional, so as a result the collection was kept on the simpler side of design but gave it a touch of magic so delicate that each dress becomes an archival piece. To give the bride a second soul and not just a ‘mate’.

    Influenced by fairytales, each look carries a distinct romantic aesthetic. The beading and crystal pleating provide an extra texture to the collection, with the hand cut appliqués adding organic beauty reminiscent of Art Nouveau movements so closely associated with the swan symbol.’.

    This collection, while simple, reflects the ideal Odile Atelier bride at it’s barest of bones- refined, elegant tastemakers of the arts. Muses. Each piece was crafted with the intention of reflecting the wearer, making the bespoke experience more intimate and grounded.
